Jonathan Hollin has practiced law for over 35 years. For many years his practice has focused on the defense of professionals (especially accountants) and the defense of colleges, universities and other educational institutions.  His practice has also included significant commercial litigation, as well the litigation of claims related to title insurance issues, and liability claims against attorneys, township engineers, inspectors and surveyors.

Mr. Hollin's defense of educational institutions has encompassed the successful defense of more than one hundred claims, including claims based on wrongful death, molestation, student-to-student violence, failure to properly supervise, life guard or coach (wrestling, football, swimming gymnastics) and premises liability. He has successfully represented over a dozen colleges and universities. He has also represented theaters, museums, boarding schools and specialty schools. His cases have included allegations involving a range of  injuries including permanent paralysis, permanent brain injuries and death.

Mr. Hollin's experience in accounting malpractice actions involves, for example, claims based on the alleged  failure to uncover embezzlements or  Ponzi schemes, and allegedly defective audits, reviews, compilations, government compliance audits, bookkeeping, tax planning and tax return preparation. Mr. Hollin successfully represented an accounting firm in a case in which the Third Circuit Court of Appeals greatly limited the scope of “deepening insolvency” claims against accountants.

In the commercial litigation field, Mr. Hollin has had experience in, such diverse matters as the resolution of partnership and shareholder conflicts, buy/sell disputes and matters involving fraudulent conveyances, constructive trusts, breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, UCC, commercial torts, civil rights, and real estate title issues including easements, adverse possession, unsatisfied liens and constructive trusts. Prior to focusing his practice on civil litigation, Mr. Hollin proudly served as an Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County.
